V6 · POLY DISTORTION SYSTEM
The V6 pickup captures all six strings separately. The unit feeds them into six independent tube distortion paths. In Poly Disto, the chord keeps its structure instead of entering distortion as one combined signal.
THE CORE OF V6
The principle is simple: do not mix the six strings before distortion. The dedicated V6 pickup uses six magnetic Alnico channels, one per string, and the unit then processes those six signals separately.
V6 PICKUP
A conventional guitar pickup combines the strings into one signal. The V6 pickup keeps them independent at the source and can be added alongside the guitar’s regular pickups.
POLY DISTO
Each string drives its own distortion path. Separation happens before saturation; V6 does not try to reconstruct the notes afterwards.
DISTORTION / POLY DISTO
V6 can deliver a direct, massive distortion. Poly Disto opens the other side of the system: the strings do not all pass through the same saturated path, which preserves more articulation inside chords and intervals.
V6 does not separate notes after distortion. In Poly Disto, they were never mixed before it.
WHAT POLY DISTO OPENS
Poly Disto is the center of the system. From it come three key uses: keeping saturated chords readable, opening the stereo field and changing gain directly while playing.
HARMONY
Extended chords, inversions and close intervals: in Poly Disto, every string reaches its own path. Notes can remain more distinct instead of collapsing into one saturated block.
SPACE
In stereo, low strings 6·5·4 and high strings 3·2·1 can follow different outputs. V6 does not only make things wider: it lets chords, resonance and feedback occupy space with more clarity.
GAIN / PLAY
A dedicated potentiometer on the guitar lets you vary Poly Disto gain while playing. Moving from tighter grain to denser saturation becomes a musical gesture, not a hidden setting.
CONTROLS
The main states, Solo and Poly Disto gain stay immediately accessible. V6 is played in real time, without screens, menus or programming.
Stereo Clean, Stereo Disto, Gain 1/2, Poly Disto and Mono Clean.
A more blues-oriented overdrive, usable on its own or together with Poly Disto.
One amp, or low strings 6·5·4 and high strings 3·2·1 split to two amps or a console.
